I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that I am a total sucker for Wesley. He is not by any means immune to being TWO, but he's mine and I can't get enough of his adorable face. Here's me and my squeeze after church one Sunday.

We Tried

Can't say we didn't try.....in October with my Mom and Dad here we tried taking family pictures for a potential Christmas card. Here are the "best" shots so you get some idea what our family looks like on Sunday.

I won't name any names, but our best efforts were thwarted by one particular turkey.

Horse Play

A few mornings ago Mom and I were watching Nathan and Wesley play. It was so cute watching them play chase I decided to record some of it. Wesley is always animated and you can see that here. It's a sweet clip of them horsing around....just gotta watch it till the end!!

Mama Mia

In late October we got to celebrate Mom's birthday. I can't remember the last time we've been all together for her birthday...so it was special. With that in mind I booked us on a "Mark Twain Adventure," ....or so the Ad read. We surprised Mom by taking her to a lake to enjoy a boat ride on an old-fashioned SteamBoat.

A leisure boat ride through the canyons of Saguaro Lake sounded great in theory.....reality not so much. I literally felt like my brain was dying.......slowly, ever so slowly. It was the longest 1 hour 22 minutes, and 14 seconds of my life.
